Thanks for bearing with us |
If you caught our last newsletter, you would know that we have been steadily growing and working to improve our processes along with that growth. Two new casual employees came on board and one of them recently joined us in a full-time position. We've still got the net out in the hopes of finding more like them and will look forward to this happening in early 2010.
This month we have also expanded our office, reclaiming our previous floorspace, meaning our new guys no longer have to work from the couch.
Over the next month we will be reviewing 2009 and looking to improve the way we interact with you, the customer. If there's something that you've enjoyed or found unsatisfactory, please email Adam.

Christmas hours and accounts |
Our office will be closed over the Christmas period (21st December to 4th January), however your web and email services will be unaffected. If you contact our office during this time, we will still have access to your messages via our support system. The easiest way to get in touch with us will be via a phone message, or email to support as we will continue to check this during the break.
If you have outstanding accounts due before or during the break, you will be receiving a supplement to this newsletter with special information.

Ho, ho, ho... scheduled downtime |
In what has become a tradition at The Frontier Group, we will be performing system upgrades this coming Christmas Eve. This will mean that some services will be inaccessible from 10PM (AWST) on Christmas Eve until the early hours of Christmas morning.
We choose this time each year to tackle some of the more disruptive system administration tasks because it has almost zero impact on our customers. Note that we host Santa’s business systems at our North Pole data centre, and as such Christmas present delivery will not be affected.

The year ahead |
When the dust settles after the next few weeks we will be looking forward to sinking our teeth into 2010. With two full-timers joining our team in 2009, we will look to continue that growth with the addition of at least another two staff in 2010. Up until now we have been growing our development team to handle the workload, but we are very much looking forward to rounding out our team in 2010 with some extra mentoring and project liaison staff, as well as continued improvement in the areas of customer service, project management and consumption of caffeinated beverages.
Once again we thank you for standing by us in an unpredictable year, and look forward to the challenges that 2010 has in store.
Have a great holiday and we will be in touch with you in the new year.
The Team @ TFG
