The new James Halliday Wine Compendium 2011 hit the bookstores a couple of weeks ago now, compulsive reading for those of us in the wine industry both as producers and sellers. We were pleased to see that James gave our 2008 Angelicus Pinot Noir a score of 90 points. To see a full copy of the review check out following the link:
In addition, we have just been invited to enter the 2008 Angelicus Pinot Noir into Australia’s most prestigious Wine Show, the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society National Wine Show of Australia in November 2010, otherwise known as the Royal Canberra Show.
To qualify for entry into this Show a Wine has to have received a Silver or Gold medal in qualifying Shows –which the 2008 Angelicus Pinot Noir has done twice with its Silver medal in the 2009 Cowra Show and the Silver medal it won at the 2010 Macquarie Bank Sydney Royal Show.
It will be interesting to see how our little boutique West Australian Pinot Noir matches up against the big guns of the major wine companies….watch this space.
If you have any questions about this wine or any of the others in our range please give me a call 0429481425.
