Due to the censorship guidelines of the Classification Board and restricted screening content at Federation Square, 'Spider', directed by NSW based filmmaker, Nash Edgerton will no longer screen in competition on Festival Day due to scenes that are 'Strong in Impact'. However 'Spider' will still be eligible for the judges vote held pre-festival at Madman Entertainment in Melbourne.
'Remember My Name' directed by Melbourne based filmmaker Bowen Duffy will replace 'Spider' on festival Day. 'Remember My Name' tells the story of a group of ordinary people, disaffected by life, who see a new way forward and put their bodies on the line for a change.
Additionally.....“The short films in Sunday's program may contain material which may offend some viewers, including; low level violence, mild themes of death, nudity & low level coarse language. Parental Guidance is recommended”
